The Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP Emenari Ifeanyi, has issued a stern warning to individuals sponsoring or supporting criminal elements in the state, vowing that anyone found culpable will face the full weight of the law.

The warning follows intensified joint security operations under the code name Operation Restore Peace in Benue State, which has in the last three months dismantled criminal camps, recovered arms and ammunition, and arrested suspects across the state.

In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Udeme Edet, the CP commended the gallantry and professionalism of officers involved in the operations.

He extended condolences to families of personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.

CP Ifeanyi assured residents that the Command remains resolute in combating crime and urged the public to remain law-abiding while supporting security agencies to rid the state of criminality.
