Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District and serving as the Senate Minority Leader, on Friday received a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) members from Okpokwu Local Government Area at his Otukpo residence.
The group, led by the local government party chairman, Hon. Itodo Boniface, paid a courtesy visit to express support for the senator’s re-election in 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Boniface commended Senator Moro of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for his outstanding representation and lasting contributions across the senatorial district.
He noted the senator’s efforts in facilitating the establishment of the Federal College of Agriculture and Technology, Opialu-Ojapo, as well as sponsoring the bill for the North Central Development Commission.
According to a statement by the senator’s media aide, Eche’Ofun John, Boniface said the APC in Okpokwu was impressed by Moro’s performance and had resolved to identify with his vision and endorse him for another term.
Boniface also urged all Benue South constituents, regardless of political party, to rally behind the senator.
In his response, Senator Moro expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that he considers himself a senator for all constituents in Zone C, including members of the APC.
Senator Moro reiterated his commitment to inclusive representation and encouraged the APC members to freely engage with him on matters affecting the area.
