The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, has reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare delivery across the district.
Moro made the pledge at the weekend while monitoring the conclusion of his two-day free medical outreach held in parts of Benue South.
The outreach, which began in Agatu and ended in Okpokwu Local Government Area, featured free medical consultations, screenings, and distribution of drugs to residents.
He said the initiative was part of his consistent efforts to enhance access to quality healthcare for his constituents, emphasising that “health is wealth.”
The senator disclosed that he had built eight primary healthcare centres across the senatorial district and supplied medical equipment and medicines worth millions of naira to communities.
He assured that facilities yet to commence operations would soon be equipped for full functionality.
Moro lamented the neglect of the health sector in Zone C but vowed to continue working tirelessly to bridge the gap and ensure better living conditions for his people.
The annual outreach, which has run for several years, has benefitted thousands of residents across Benue South.
