AISI To Hold Inaugural Lecture In Abuja

The African Institute for Statecraft International (AISI) will on August 20, 2025, hold its official unveiling and inaugural lecture in Abuja.

Themed “Reinventing Political Leadership & Democratic Governance,” the event is expected to bring together political thinkers, party leaders, policy scientists, scholars, and advocates of democratic values from across Nigeria and Africa.

In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Secretary of the Institute, Adai Edwin Adai, said the lecture would mark the beginning of AISI’s journey to promote transformational leadership, governance, and policy development on the continent.

The event, scheduled for 10:30am at the BMT Legacy Centre, Wuse 2, Abuja, will be chaired by Chief Olubode George.

The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, will serve as Special Guest of Honour, while the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, will be the Guest of Honour.
