The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has urged its supporters to demonstrate their loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia by ensuring they obtain Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
State Unity Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale, gave the charge after a Thanksgiving Mass at NKST Church, Adikpo, in honour of Governor Alia and his appointees from Kwande Local Government Area.
Omale said no amount of love for Tinubu and Alia would be meaningful without voter cards, stressing that the governor’s re-election bid required “massive voter mobilisation.”
He attributed the impressive turnout at the thanksgiving to Alia’s performance since 2023, adding that Kwande people were already showing strong support for the governor.
The APC chairman further commended Alia for giving appointments to Kwande indigenes, and appreciated Chief Moses Ternenge for mobilising support for the event.
Omale also lauded the Tor Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse, for standing by the governor and openly backing his 2027 reelection bid.
