A Chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Nasarawa State, Ahmed Bola Oduleye, who was the former youth leader of Yoruba Community in Nasarawa State, and National President, Jagaban Presidential Campaign, 2023, has asked Nigerians to engage fully in agriculture. He made the statement in Yakade, a subub of Keffi in Nasarawa State, where the wife of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; commissioned Ultra-Modern Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp.
Speaking to journalists at the occasion, he said the IDP is capable to engaging people in full time mechanize agriculture, if properly managed. He believes that Nigeria can comfortably export maize and other crops if we channel our energies towards that.
He said that provision of these high class facilities at the IDP, will enable the people to farm, and have adequate health care facilities pending the time they will return to their original homes.
He extoled the leadership quality of President Ahmed Tinubu, to make Nigeria a better country with his renewed hope agenda
Present at the occasion was the Senator Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West. At the commissioning, he said, “he is a grass roots politician, loved by his people and his presence at the IDP camp is a sign to move the country forward. We should not play politics of bitterness and rancour. This is the time where tribe, political learning and religion should be jettisoned.”
Oduleye called on the management of the IDPs camp, which was named after Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to make judicious use of the facilities.
He used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to support the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to achieve and fully implement the Renewed Hope Agenda programme he promised Nigerians.
