Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) Worldwide, Dr Paul Enenche, on Friday warned that Nigeria risks being overwhelmed by insecurity and other national challenges without divine intervention, urging citizens and leaders to collectively seek God’s mercy.

Enenche spoke in Makurdi shortly after arriving for a two-day crusade themed “The Mercy of God,” organised by the church in the Benue State capital.

He said the persistence of insecurity and other threats confronting the country underscores the need for Nigerians to rely on God rather than human solutions alone, stressing that it is by divine mercy that the nation has survived thus far.

According to him, the scale of the challenges facing Nigeria is such that only God’s intervention can prevent the country from sliding further into crisis.

“We are in a time when we need nothing but the mercy of God. Whether it is insecurity or other situations threatening to consume the land, we have come to ask God for mercy so that we will not be consumed,” Enenche said.

The cleric called on Nigerians to renew their faith and turn to God in prayer, while also urging leaders at all levels to show responsibility and genuine concern for the welfare of the people.

He expressed confidence that with divine help and responsible leadership, Nigeria would overcome its present challenges.

Enenche said the Makurdi crusade is intended to reconnect people with God, restore hope and encourage national healing through prayer, faith and collective responsibility.
