As the battle for who takes over from Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State gathers momentum, the electorates and stakeholders have begun intensive push for the candidature of an Abuja-based entrepreneur and philanthropist, Barrister Isaac Y. Adams.

Speaking to NIGERIA PROJECT, the electorates said, Barr. Isaac Y. Adams, the young, brilliant and philanthropist is competent and qualified to take over from the current governor.

Barrister Adams became popular due to his charity work. He has touched many lives and has raised the bar in the area of philanthropy. He has spent millions of naira to empower widows, and vulnerable Nigerians. While doling out huge amount of money to youths to start various businesses; and places many orphans on scholarship. Apart from money, he had also given out many cars as gift to people, as well as landed property to others. His largesse cuts across religion, tribe and race.

For instance, during the Covid-19 lock-down, he ordered for bags of rice and other food stuffs and distributed to people. This gesture he continued until the lock-down was over. Also, during the pre-2023 money redesigned policy that pushed many citizens into untold hardship, the lawyer stepped in by giving succour to the people.

In one of his interviews with media men, he was asked why he doled out millions of naira to empower people especially youths, he said, “I believe so much in human development. I kept investing for the overall betterment of the youths. If you don’t develop people by investing in them, it is disastrous. If people are not properly trained or developed, how can they cope with the modern day of competition? We need to invest more in our people, especially the youths. Also, let’s teach our people how to make genuine money. If someone is not properly trained on how to make or manage money, even if you give such fellow huge sums of money, he or she would squander it. That is why I usually make sure they go through business training before I give them the kick-off grants.”

In the area of community service, the Nasarawa State-born legal luminary is not left out. He has spent over N25 million to fix byroads that connect the Boundary Road of Nasarawa and FCT.

Barrister Adams charity work doesn’t stop only in FCT, but also extends the gesture to his ancestral home of Nasarawa State. He is always on ground to show love to his people in his ancestral home, as well as neighbouring communities.

The electorates are of the opinion that with all these undisputed characters, Barrister Isaac Y. Adams, is the man to take over from Engr. Abdullahi Sule.

Barrister Isaac Y. Adams, studied Law from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.
