The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges. He made this assertion while receiving members of the Fiditi Progressive Union Abuja branch at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja.

Bishop Adegbite praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as a detribalized leader who values merit and capacity. He urged Nigerians to support the President’s efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy.

According to a press statement released by NCPC Head, Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka (Deputy Director); the NCPC boss expressed gratitude for the visit from his hometown, Fiditi, in Oyo State, and promised to continue supporting developmental projects that will uplift the lives of the people of Fiditi. He also emphasized the importance of upholding the values of integrity and uprightness.

The Chairman of the Fiditi Progressive Union Abuja branch, Mr. Jimmy Adeyi, congratulated Bishop Adegbite on his appointment and thanked President Tinubu for entrusting him with the leadership of the NCPC. He admonished Bishop Adegbite to uphold the values of the Fiditi people in all his dealings.
