Popular gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, has said that he will mark his 44th birthday anniversary on Friday, August 29, by hosting a worship session with inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.

Bassey, also a Pastor, in a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, revealed that the event will feature a one-day edition of the popular ‘Halleluyah Challenge’, which was started in 2017.

“Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in prison,” Nathaniel Bassey wrote.

The ‘Halleluyah Challenge’ has over the years become one of Africa’s most influential online prayer and worship sessions, drawing thousands of Christians nightly for a dedicated hour of praise.

It has also inspired widespread testimonies of healing, deliverance, and answered prayers from participants across the world.
