The Benue State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Ogwuche Ejeh Paul, has stressed that healthcare is not only a medical responsibility but also a humanitarian and spiritual calling.
The Commissioner, represented by Dr. Agogo Joseph Ije, stated this weekend at the one-year anniversary and award ceremony of the Remnant Christian Network (RCN) Medical Mission, where he commended the initiative for its impact on underserved communities.
He applauded the vision of Apostle Arome Osayi and the commitment of medical professionals, volunteers, and partners who have advanced faith-driven healthcare delivery within a short time.
According to him, the Ministry remains open to partnerships with faith-based organisations, civil society, and private groups to strengthen access to affordable and inclusive healthcare across the state.
“Our doors remain open to all stakeholders who share in the vision of accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all,” he said, encouraging RCN Medical Mission to scale up its work and serve as a model of compassion.
The event also featured award presentations to individuals and groups recognised for their contribution to Christian medical missions in Nigeria.
