The Councilor representing Nyanya Ward in Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Rt. Hon. Matthew Yare Danjuma (Esq.), has said, he has performed more than all councilors from Nyanya Ward since 1999.

Speaking with Nigeria Project via phone, against the backdrop of the allegation by the opposition parties that he has performed woefully, he advised them to be realistic and patient to first get the ticket of their various political parties, before making unnecessary noise and unguided utterances for political relevance and empathy.

When asked if he was aware of political gang up by the opposition parties to dislodge him at the poll, he said, “They should be patient and get their various political parties ticket first before talking of defeating me at the poll.”

Barrister Danjuma added that, he is not a kind of politician that makes noise or blows his own trumpet; but asked our reporter to go to his Ward to see things for himself.

According to him, he has carried out a good number of projects and empowerments that have direct impacts on the people of his ward, who are the electorates; thus, they are seriously behind him.

“Go to Nyanya Ward and see things for yourself. As I speak with you, there is ongoing reconstruction/rehabilitation of Nyanya-Living Faith Church Road; go there, the work is ongoing. I had also carried out same work in Area C, Nyanya; construction of 1km Road at Nyanya Federal Housing; these are just few of them. Go to Nyanya ward and ask the electorates if I have performed well or not. I can tell you with all sense of humility but to the glory of God that I have performed more than all councilors produced by Nyanya Ward from 1999 till date.”

He advised those making unnecessary noise to wait to first get the ticket of their political parties, before talking of defeating him at the poll, as according to him, Nyanya electorates have seen his good works, and by the special grace of God, the verifiable performances will speak for him at the poll.

“People are making noise, but have not gotten the ticket to compete yet, while the unnecessary noise now?” He asked rhetorically.
