Open Letter
Dear Governor of Benue State,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding your decision to turn the President’s scheduled visit to Benue State into a political rally. Given the current security challenges and killings in the state, this is not the time for politicking.
Instead of using this opportunity for political gain, I urge you to engage the President in a meaningful discussion on finding lasting solutions to the security issues plaguing our state. The people of Benue are crying out for relief and protection, and it is our collective responsibility as leaders to prioritize their welfare.
The citizens of Benue are highly disappointed with the current pattern of leadership, and this decision has only added to their frustration. I implore you to reconsider your approach and use this platform to advocate for the needs and concerns of our people.
Conclusion
Let us put the interests of Benue State and its people above politics. I hope you will take this opportunity to make a positive impact and work towards finding solutions to the challenges we face.
Sincerely,
HON. IGBALAGH MATHIAS ORDONDO.
