An Abuja-based preacher, philanthropist and Founder/Senior Pastor of Global Kingdom Church, International; Dr. Isaac Y. Adams, has been given a prestigious Humanitarian Award.
The award was given to him by Episkopos Theological Bible College, during its graduation ceremony, held at Founded Zion Global Ministry Inc., Gbagalape – Abuja; on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Speaking at the event, Apostle Isaac Y. Adams thanked God, as well as the management of the theological school for such honour, saying it’s a call to do more.
“I really thank God and the management of this theological institution for this great honour. It is a call to do more by putting smile on the faces of humanity especially to the less privileged ones in the society.”
The preacher used the opportunity to urge Christians especially the church leaders, to practically demonstrate love to not only their members, but entire humanity. According to him, the essence of Christianity is love; therefore, every Christian must thrive to do good work at all times.
“I want to use this medium to urge Christians especially church leaders to, as a matter of priority and necessity, take the issue of charity of members and non-members serious, because that is the essence of Christianity and human existence,” he added.
Dr. Isaac Y. Adams; the Ahmadu Bello University trained lawyer-turned preacher, is popular in FCT because of his charity work; which cuts across both Christians and non-Christians.
He had doled out millions of naira to people to start businesses; and placed many orphans and less-privileged on scholarship. Apart from money, he had also given out many cars as gift to people, as well as landed properties.
In the area of community work, Dr. Adams is not left out. He has spent a whooping some of money running into millions of naira, to rehabilitate/reconstruct by-pass roads that connect Phase IV, Nyanya and Checkpoint/Boundary Road, Abuja.
Recently, he again, embarked on reconstruction/rehabilitation of Checkpoint Boundary Road. The road that connects to Kabayi and “Aso C” in Nasarawa State.
The bad state of the boundary road between FCT and Nasarawa State, has cut off thousands of residents on those axis, as the commuters have to go through longer routes to connect to their places of work in the Federal Capital city.
The rehabilitation/construction of the road is ongoing, which the man of God, has again, spends over 10 million naira.
According to the Nasarawa State-born preacher, charity is not optional but a commandment by the Holy Bible, which every Christian ought to obey.
He, therefore, urges every Christian to take the issue of charity very serious.
